The celebrations began with the hoisting of the tricolour, its vibrant hues fluttering proudly against the clear morning sky ☀️. This solemn and proud moment was followed by soul-stirring patriotic songs❤️ that evoked goosebumps and filled every heart with gratitude.
The mention of the Sampann Bharat of today reminded everyone of our nation’s incredible progress and bright future ✨. Our Honourable Principal’s inspiring address paid heartfelt tribute to the sacrifices of our brave freedom fighters and encouraged all to work towards the continued growth and unity of our motherland.
This celebration was more than just a tradition—it was a reminder of our collective responsibility to protect our freedom, strengthen our unity, and serve our country with pride and love.

SSRVM celebrated the auspicious occasion of Ashadhi Ekadashi with deep devotion.
✨ The celebration began with a soulful satsang by the students, setting a serene and devotional tone.
Students then watched an insightful video explaining the scientific significance of chanting the name 'Vitthal', followed by an engaging session where students themselves chanted “Vitthal Vitthal” with devotion.
Students of Std 6 and 7 took part in a vibrant procession carrying the Palkhi and Dandi, dressed as traditional Warkaris, chanting the divine name in unison and spreading festive energy throughout the campus.
Students from Std 8 to 10 showcased an energetic Lezim performance and later visited the Vitthal-Rukmini temple for satsang, deepening their connection with the tradition.
All students enthusiastically participated in the spirited 'Ringan' activity, symbolizing unity and celebration in devotion.
The entire celebration beautifully reflected the values of devotion, discipline  and cultural heritage.

Bagless Day in our school was a burst of colours, ideas & awareness as students of Grades 6 to 8 experienced a day of learning without books—but full of inspiration!
✨Students painted heartfelt tributes to the bravery & sacrifice of our soldiers, with the theme- "Our Country, Our Soldiers, Our Pride" ♂️filling every sheet with courage & national pride. ❤️
After the drawing competition an activity on Mindful Sugar Intake Awareness was done.
Through Comic Strips, Myth vs Fact Charts, Board Games, Recipe Cards, and Story Writing ✍️, students explored how mindful choices can lead to healthier lives.
By the end, our corridors bloomed with colourful art, thought-provoking charts, creative games, and inspiring stories — proving that learning can be joyful, meaningful & impactful!

Blood Donation Camp at Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir Borivali

On Saturday, 27th July 2024, Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir in Borivali hosted a highly successful blood donation camp on its premises. This noble initiative was organized in collaboration with Sir J.J Mahanagar Blood Bank, Byculla, Mumbai (SBTC), Govt. of Maharashtra.

The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from our Parents Teachers’ Association, the parents of our students, staff, and ex-students, all coming together to contribute to this significant cause.

An impressive total of 136 units of blood with the potential to positively impact up to 408 liveswere collected during the event, showcasing the collective effort and dedication of the participants.

Our Director, Shri Jayesh Panchal, not only donated blood but also expressed his heartfelt joy at being a part of this "Maha-daan," a grand gesture of giving. His participation served as a powerful example and inspired many others to join in this act of kindness.

This blood donation camp was more than just a medical event; it was a festival of gratitude, a way for the school community to give back to society.

The students of grades 1-3 beautifully depicted the essence of Christmas through drawings, highlighting the joy of giving and sharing happiness. Meanwhile, the grade 4 students crafted stunning Christmas wreaths using crumpled paper techniques, adding a touch of elegance to the celebration. The grade 5 students created impressive Christmas trees, symbolizing eternal life and topped with stars that represented the bringer of light and happiness ⭐️.
The highlight of the celebration was a special visit from Santa Claus himself! He made his way to each grade level, sharing a meaningful message tailored to each class. The students were thrilled to meet Santa and eagerly listened to his inspiring words.
The students also dressed in festive red and white attire, sharing their favourite food with friends. The melodious sounds of Christmas carols filled the air, adding to the festive atmosphere.
The Christmas celebration at SSRVM School was a wonderful blend of creativity, joy, and festive spirit, making it a memorable experience for all.

The celebration was a delightful mix of creativity, culture, and community, engaging students from various grades in meaningful activities.
The students of grade I and II embraced the spirit of Diwali by engaging in a Rangoli colouring activity. Armed with vibrant colours, they coloured intricate patterns that reflected the festive spirit. 
The students of grade III and IV crafted beautiful diya hangings.The children learned about the symbolism of light in Diwali, understanding how diyas dispel darkness and signify hope and joy.
The students of grade V using colorful materials, crafted beautiful torans that reflected their individual styles.
The entire celebration was filled with laughter, learning, and a sense of belonging, leaving students with cherished memories and a deeper understanding of the values behind Diwali.

Grades 6 & 7 students took part in the initiative “A Plant for Every Hand, Hope for Our Land,” where each sapling planted symbolized a heartfelt promise towards nurturing a greener and more sustainable future. Every young plant was a pledge — of care, growth, and environmental stewardship.✨
Meanwhile, Grades 8 & 9 students immersed themselves in “Nature’s Canvas,” capturing the breathtaking beauty of the natural world through their lenses. गीता सुगीता कर्तव्या किमन्यैः शास्त्रविस्तरैः।
हमारे विद्यालय में दिनाङ्क ११/१२/२०२४ को गीता-जयंती-महोत्सव के अवसर पर छात्रों के सर्वांगीण विकास तथा श्रीमद्भगवद्गीता के प्रति रुचि उत्पन्न करने हेतु क्रियाकलाप किए  गए।
प्रत्येक कक्षा में होने वाले क्रियाकलाप इस प्रकार से थे-
• कक्षा-६ एवं ७ के छात्रों के द्वारा श्रीमद्भगवद्गीता के श्लोक का  लेखन तथा स्मरण ।  
• कक्षा-८ एवं १०  के छात्रों द्वारा श्रीमद्भगवद्गीता के  श्लोक का चित्रांकन एवं स्मरण ।
• कक्षा ६ से १० तक के छात्रों ने मिलकर गीता के १२ अध्याय का पाठ किया । जिसमें विद्यालय की प्राचार्या श्रीमती ताप्ती मेहता महोदया तथा अध्यापक भी उपस्थित हुए । पाठोपरांत प्राचार्या श्रीमती ताप्ती मेहता महोदया ने छात्रों को सम्बोधित करते हुए हमारे जीवन में गीता के महत्व तथा उसकी आवश्यकता के विषय में बताया।

Standard 1 students had a fun-filled educational trip to the "Farm on Wheels"! They participated in hands-on activities like sowing seeds and planting saplings. They also played a vegetable identification game, washed and segregated vegetables, and set up a market to buy and sell veggies using "Dummy notes". The day ended with happy moments and a wealth of knowledge was gained through this experiential learning.
