Aligning with National Mathematics Day, celebrated on December 22nd to honour the genius- Srinivasa Ramanujan, this week highlighted the beauty and relevance of mathematics in everyday life. Through fun-filled indoor and outdoor activities, students discovered the magic of math while developing problem-solving skills and a love for learning. Grade 1: Our youngest mathematicians had a blast learning the table of 2 through an energetic game of hopscotch, combining outdoor fun with number skills! Grade 2: Grade 2 students explored the world of 3D shapes indoors, while outdoors they enjoyed a lively Math Mates Match-Up activity, fostering collaboration and learning. Grade 3: Fractions came alive in the exciting outdoor activity Crack the Code: Fraction Match Mania, while indoors, students honed their creativity with tangram puzzles. Grade 4 and 5 : Team spirit and problem-solving shone brightly as students of grades 4 and 5 participated in a thrilling Math Relay activity and also aligned their thinking skills indoors with the engaging Tarsia activity.
